English summaries of court rulings

As of now the District Court of Rotterdam will, on a regular basis, publish summaries in English of civil court rulings issued by its Maritime Chamber. The Maritime Chamber handles court cases in the areas of (international) sea-, trade- and transport law.

Many of the rulings in these cases are of international significance. By providing summaries in English, international corporations, legal researchers and lawyers will be able to inform themselves about relevant court rulings.

The English summary is included as content indication in the published ruling regarding the choice of forum/jurisdiction.
