English summaries of civil court cases

From october 2015 the District Court of Rotterdam publishes, on a regular basis, summaries in English of civil court rulings issued by its Maritime Chamber. The Maritime Chamber handles court cases in the areas of (international) sea-, trade- and transport law

Many of the rulings in these cases are of international significance. By providing summaries in English, international corporations, legal researchers and lawyers will be able to inform themselves about relevant court rulings.
