Proceedings following the recusal judgment in the matter of the Crimean treasures

On 15 June 2020 the Ukrainian State moved a motion to recuse the presiding judge assigned to the case of the Crimean treasures.

Today the panel of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal considering that motion decided that the presiding judge can no longer adjudicate on the case. This means that the Amsterdam Court of Appeal now will assign a new judge to the panel considering the case of the Crimean treasures. Subsequently the court will communicate with the parties involved about the continuation of proceedings.
