Today, the Dutch Council for the Judiciary published its response to the publication by the Netherlands Research and Documentation Centre [Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek- en Datacentrum (“WODC“)] of its report entitled 'The Netherlands Commercial Court – an interim assessment in the start-up phase' [De Netherlands Commercial Court – een tussenbalans in de opstartfase].
On 11 April 2025, the NCC Court in Summary Proceedings issued a judgment in an M&A case regarding the shares in a Dutch developer of online gambling games (Stakelogic). The Court ordered the purchaser (a Japanese multinational) to perform its obligations towards the sellers (domiciled in the UK, the US and the Netherlands).
