Registering general terms and conditions
You can register your general terms and conditions at any courthouse in the Netherlands. You give the general terms and conditions to a court employee or send them by post. You will need to write a letter that asks for registration, sign the letter and include it with your general terms and conditions.
Costs of registration
You pay court fees (in Dutch) to register your general terms and conditions.
Registration number
When you have registered your general terms and conditions, the court will give you a registration number that you can use to ask to look at the general terms and conditions.
Requesting general terms and conditions
You can ask to look at your general terms and conditions by writing a request. You must include the following information in your request:
- which general terms and conditions you want to see
- the registration number of the general terms and conditions
- your name and address
Send your request to the courthouse where you registered the general terms and conditions.
Costs of requesting general terms and conditions
You do not have to pay to request general terms and conditions. This was confirmed on 1 October 2017.
